Description Oliver Putz 2008-09-13 19:58:08 UTC
Version: 1.9.9 (using 3.5.9, Gentoo)
Compiler: Target: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.25-gentoo-r7

In case anyone is still working on the kmail-3.5 codebase: Today as I asnwered a mail on an IMAP server (by hitting "a"), kmail crashed with the backtrace below. After the crash, the mail appeared (in kmail) to be empty [nothing left except the headers]. However, on the IMAP server, the mail is still completely intact.

The backtrace for this crash was:

Using host libthread_db library "/lib/libthread_db.so.1".

Tried several times but I can not reproduce on 1.11.2 with gmail imap account. Please feel free to reopen if you can reproduce on newer version.
