Version: 0.60.1 (using 4.1.1 (KDE 4.1.1), Gentoo) Compiler: i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.24-gentoo-r8 I assume that this bug appear when using jabber plugin. Let's say I have following contacts on my list: - foobar1 - foobar2 Both are online. Now, when I am in the groupchat room, and contact foobar1 will join this room with the same name (foobar1), this contact will disappear from my contact list. The same happens when this contact is already in the room and I will join it. But when contact foobar2 will join this room with different name than on the contact list - for example "Foo Bar" - this contact will stay on the contact list. So - when contact name is the same as MUC name in the room, the contact disappear from the list. I don't know if this is important, but those are metacontacts (I use jabber and gadu-gadu). When I quit kopete and open it again, these contacts will be back on the list - unless I'll join the room again. This bug didn't take place in Kopete 0.50.80, it appeard in 0.60.1
I can confirm this bug on kopete 4.5.1, Archlinux i686. also this bug reports the same problem: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=197850
I can confirm this too, on KDE SC 4.6.1, Kopete 1.0.80
