Description Emanuel Schütze 2008-09-12 11:53:58 UTC
Version:           2.0.0-rc5 (using 4.1)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                MS Windows

1. import an openpgp key with certifications
2. open certificate details -> certifications
3. load certifications
-> name and email address of certifications are missing
Only self certifications and new (with kleopatra created) certifications are shown correctly.

Name and email are only shown for signing keys which are known, i.e. can be found in the local keyring. gpg --list-sigs shows the same behavior, so I doubt it's a kleopatra problem.
Comment 2 Marc Mutz 2008-10-06 12:02:13 UTC
It looks like a problem between gpg and gpgme, in fact:

- On the command line, with --list-sigs, I get [User ID not found] for _all_ of
  the keys which I do not have on my local keyring.
- In Kleopatra, _some_ of these show [User ID not found], too, but _others_
  just have empty name and email fields.

The [User ID not found] string does not come from Kleo, so if it's there sometimes, and other times it's not, this is a gpgme/gpg bug.

-> invalid

For some reason. Kde does not recognize certs for google, also My internet provider does not recognize kde as a viable os. My platform is a chromebook. This was all working fine until I had to re install everything and start over re installing kde.
 I did so just like the last time I had it but now I am recieving these new issues.
