Description Diederik van der Boor 2008-09-10 20:50:22 UTC
Version: 1.1 (using 4.1.1 (KDE 4.1.1) "release 31.3", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.0)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.25.11-0.1-pae

Example situation:
 * you have a folder with a lot of PDF files (e.g. the akademy PDF's)
 * previes are disabled, the information sidebar is enabled.
 * hover over each pdf for a second, and move to the next one.

At some point, there will be 5 `gs' processes (or more) busy generating previews of the PDF files you've hover over. ..even though those previews are not relevant anymore since you've moved to the next one. The system load went up from 0.6 to 5.

This has been fixed in KDE 4.2.
