Version:           1.10.0 (using 4.1.1 (KDE 4.1.1), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.24-16-generic

After running a KDE session without entering a password for the kde wallet, kmail drops random bits of configuration. Today the hostname of my main mail account.

I guess this is a duplicate of bug 169166.
