When I start dragging an icon in the folderview, first I get a long delay where the applet seems to hang (about 2 seconds) before I finally have the icon moving with my cursor. The same happens when I drop: The icon disappears from my cursor, but it takes ~2sec till it re-appears in the folderview.
This happens both with Desktop Effect on and off.
I've got a GeForce 8500 with binary drivers 169.12 and I'm using Kubuntu 8.04.
I know of the problems this graphics card(s) can make, but I don't seem to suffer from them: Dragging plasmoids and windows and so on works reasonably (and usable) well (a bit slower than KDE3 though).
