Description gjditchfield 2008-09-07 17:59:21 UTC
Version: 4.1.0 (using 4.1.1 (KDE 4.1.1), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27-2-generic

I booted a Dell D600 from a Kubuntu Intrepid alpha 5 CD and launched Kontact. I opened the Calendar and deleted the first of the two "Default KOrganizer resource" entries (a separate Intrepid configuration bug).

I created a new To-do. On the General tab:
- Title "rectest"
- Start 2008-09-09
- Due 2008-09-13
- all other General settings left unchanged.
- I did not press "OK"

I switched to the Recurrence tab. It displayed appointment time with the start and due times I entered above.

I checked off "Enable recurrence" and set recurrence type "monthly", "Recur every 1 month", and "Recur on the 13th day".

I switched back to the General tab. The start date was still 2008-09-09. I pressed OK.

In Kontact, I right-clicked "rectest" and selected "edit". The General tab in the "Edit To-do" window now showed the start date to be 2008-09-13.

I changed the due date to 2008-09-14 and pressed "OK". When I re-opened the to-do, the *start* date was 2008-09-14, and the due date was 2008-09-13.

Can't reproduce with KDE4.2.

Can you retest with KDE4.2?

I can't reproduce this bug in KDE 4.3.2 (Kubuntu 9.10). Looks like it is 4.1 only. I take it 4.1 is not supported any more?

korganizer is still maintained. Change to an appropriate resolution.
