provide configurable summary statusbar

Imho current summary is too elaborate, it uses comma to often too.
7 out of 29, 1.8KB (1,.....

I would prefer much simpler MC summary, so please let it be configurable, user than could write something like this:
$SELCOUNT : $SELBYTES ($SELINT)
(example; $SELINT -- the biggest capacity unit is used which will not  result showing a fraction)

I think it should have an ability to show other information as well. Like currently selected file name (without a path) instead of current 'size of selected files'.
