Description Roberto Vera Alvarez 2008-09-05 22:49:46 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I installed the KDE 4.1.1 in OpenSuSE 11.0. The KDE SOCKS proxy setup does not work.

What I Do: I use the Configure Desktop -> Network setting -> SOCKS to activate SOCKS support, and choose Dante.

When I restart the KDE, or even the computer, and I press the 'Test' button, it always says: SOCKS could not be loaded.

Therefore I can't use any application like kopete that use the KDE general SOCKS proxy setting.
