Version: 0.8.7 (using 3.5.9, Kubuntu (hardy) 4:3.5.9-0ubuntu7.1) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.24-19-generic Because I usually watch DVB from my sofa, I'd love to see more shortcuts implemented! Just a view examples: ########################## Add to Timers, via OSD. (like the one in the epg-window right click context menu. I'd be able to navigate via next channel and next osd event, and could add anything to the list of timers without opening any windows.. ) Start DVB-T I was wondering why there is no shortcut to simply start DVB, for example to switch away from DVD. I can press "6" after starting kaffeine, but later on I have to get up from my sofa :P And the Question "Kaffeine has queued timers. Do you really want to quit?" might be useful for some people but I can't shutdown my computer because of the message box. A checkbox "dont ask again" would be great! (is there another way to switch it off?) Navigate through folders / recoreded movies OSD: Having shortcuts to navigate through recorded movies, the EPG and Timers in full screen mode would be very cool!! Excuse my English, hope it doesn't sound rude love the app, using it every day without any crashes. Looking forward to the kde4 version and thanks a lot for your hard work! Sincerely, desmane.
This bug is too old, for a version < 1.3. Closing it, as the latest version is 2.0.1, and lots of things changed since version 1.2.x, including the usage of VLC as video display backend, support for DVB-T2 and ISDB-T via libVLC, etc. You may check on the upstream version and see if the bug was solved. The README file contains instructions about how to compile it. You can find it at our git repository: https://quickgit.kde.org/?p=kaffeine.git If you find similar issues with version 2.0.1, please re-open.
