Version: 2.5.7 (using KDE 3.5.9) OS: Linux Installed from: SuSE RPMs Using PHP from the command line... I am a (ever bigger) user of PHP. Using it now for system programming. The little problem is that when kate is coloring the "out of PHP" lines (default coloring of after "?>"), it does it considering HTML language. This is not appropriated when the script is used in line, that is, beginning with something like "#!/usr/bin/php". In this case it should be "Bash" type coloration. Adding an item "PHP (Bash)" in the menu "Syntax coloration"->"Scripts", and/or considering the first line of the scrip could change that default coloration... Thanks for working on the greatest editor I know.
Its a valid wish, but won't be done, if nobody provides a patch. Look at kate-editor.org to do so, if you want. Otherwise closed, as we can't keep track of all hl wishs ;)
