Version: (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

Sorry, it's hard to make a good short description. Now for the long one:

It'd be cool if the desktop grid would work for switching desktops like the alt-tab now can work for switching windows... so ctrl-tab (which I use for next desktop) shows'em all while holding ctrl, but if you click it fast, it just slides to the next desktop. Or cubes that way, of course, if that's default...

"Cube/Cylinder/Sphere can be used for "walk through desktop" functionality. This new mode has to be enabled in the settings. Default is off. Mouse functionality is disabled in this tab box mode."

This request has almost been fulfilled - after all, KWin can now use the slide or cube effects. But I'm looking for just a little bit more:

I would love it if the walk-through-desktop shortcut (ctrl-tab for me) would
show the desktop layout (desktop grid) when you hold ctrl pressed.

Like the alt-tab windowswitcher using the present windows effect, but with ctrl-tab virtual desktop switcher using desktop grid...

Love,

Jos
