Version: (using KDE 4.1.0) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Ning social networks appear to work in Konqueror 3.5, but not 4.1. Test case: "Add Friend" link is missing in 4.1 user profile pages.
What other problems do you see? I found a few in trying to set up a "network". But I'm not familiar enough with it to notice other small things.
In setting up a group: * can't change "style" format layout * when adding questions for new members, can't hit js onClick submit button * under a "main" group page, the "invite friends", "add photos", "add a video", etc buttons don't work I can't actually tell how friends are supposed to work yet. I'm zahl+ning on there if someone wants to add me. :D
I think basically anything AJAX seems broken. http://kde4lovers.ning.com/profile/LukeDashjr Above "Send a Message" is usually "Add Friend" There might be a problem with image uploads too.
If you have Konq 3.5, it works there...
Some of the buttons on image upload worked, at least enough for me to upload two. I couldn't delete one of them though, the "delete image" doesn't work. Also looks like the WYSIWYG editing on the "wall" doesn't work. At least the bar for it doesn't show. Luke Jr: If you are good with javascript, or care to become so, and can write up little testcases that would be helpful. Otherwise, Maks, I've made .war archives of some of the pages.
Luke-Jr: Long time ago you reported this. Does the problem with loading ning.com still exist?
Most of the site seems to work now. Just not the "chat" feature from what I saw.
Thank you for the bug report. As this report hasn't seen any changes in 10 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists. If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved.
Dear user, KHTML (and KJS) was a long time more or less unmaintained and got removed in KF6. Please migrate to use a QWebEngine based HTML component. We will do no further fixes or improvements to the KF5 branches of these components beside important security fixes. For security issues, please see: https://kde.org/info/security/ Sorry that we did not fix this issue during the life-time of KHTML. Greetings Christoph Cullmann
