Please update your strigi-package. Thanks! *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 163050 ***
I think I do have the latest strigi packages installed. Or were you referring to packages from SVN? ii libstreamanalyzer0 0.5.11-1 streamanalyzer library for Strigi Desktop Search ii libstreams0 0.5.11-1 streams library for for Strigi Desktop Search ii kdegraphics-strigi-plugins 4:4.1.0-1 graphics file formatplugins for Strigi Desktop S ii kdepim-strigi-plugins 4:4.1.0-2 PIM file format plugins for Strigi Desktop Search ii kdesdk-strigi-plugins 4:4.1.0-1 software developmentfile format plugins for Stri ii libstrigihtmlgui0 0.5.11-1 library for writing html clients for Strigi Deskt ii libstrigiqtdbusclient0 0.5.11-1 library for writing D-Bus clients for Strigi Desk ii strigi-client 0.5.11-1 Qt4 client for Strigi Desktop Search ii strigi-daemon 0.5.11-1 fast indexing and searching tool for your persona ii strigi-utils 0.5.11-1 command-line tools for Strigi Desktop Search
0.5.11 should be sufficient, but there still have been bug-reports which are resolved with strigi 0.6.0. Honestly speaking I don't know whether 0.6.0 is already available as debian package :-( I've installed Suse 11.0 with the 4.1.0 packages and there strigi 0.6.0 is provided; the issue is not reproducible there.
Okay!! In that case I'll close it and wait for the new strigi packages. Thanks.
This is a bug in a security fix in gnome's libxml2. Please see debian bug #496125 and especially message #99 (http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=496125#99). Downgrade libxml2 to version 2.6.32.dfsg-2 to fix the problem.
