Description Andreas Silberstorff 2008-08-23 13:18:12 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

This is not a duplicate of 121484. The size of any page in contacts dialog is too big for a small device. On small devices You do not have the chance to resize the window to make the dialog more usable. You are allways forced to use a lot of ALT+LMB moving of the dialog to access OK, Apply or Revert buttons.

The size of the config dialog is way too big for small displays like that of an eeePC (800x404).

This applyes also for the applications in standalone mode.

Most pages show a lot of unused space. Some pages should be redisigned to make them fit on small devices.

Dialogs should not need more space then the display provides. It may be sufficient to make pages scrollable that need more space then the display allows.
