Description Matthias Weiss 2008-08-20 17:42:55 UTC
Version: 1.1 (using KDE 4.1.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

I'm using dolphin with the window split vertically.
View mode is "Details".
For navigation I use "Edit Location" for both sides.

There are 2 directories, each with files in them, called ~/dir1 and ~/dir2.

Steps to reproduce the bug:

1.)
Start is with both sides in the same directory, that is the content of ~/dir1 is shown left and right. Both sides have the same path in the "Edit Location" field.

2.)
I select 1 file on the left side with the mouse.

3.)
I put the cursor in the "Edit Location" field of the right side and change the location to ~/dir2 and press enter.

4.)
Both sides switch to ~/dir2 although only the right side should.

Further comment:
When I don't select a file on the left side this problem doesn't show up.
