Version: (using KDE 4.1.0) Installed from: SuSE RPMs On most pages where there's an swf file embedded, where the object should be embedded, there's a white rectangle. No image or sound plays. If you right click on the rectangle, you do get the flash context menu. On a couple of sites, I've found that refreshing the page a few times will load the object correctly (such as at singsnap.com). On sites where it does load most of the time, there seems to be an issue with the object dimensions. For instance, if I go to homestarrunner.com in Firefox or Konqueror 3.5.9, I see the main flash object at the top center of the page and, right below it, a smaller flash object that has links to major portions of the site (main, toons, games, characters, downloads, etc.), but in Konqueror 4.1.61 (from the opensuse packages), it looks like the main flash object extends too far down, so as to cover the smaller flash object. I was going to make two reports, but I changed my mind in case these two issues were related. If this is wrong, I'll make a second report. My version of flash is: 10.0.0.525
Created attachment 30118 [details] HTML file Replicates embedded flash 10 (youtube video) not working The attachment is a HTML file with a embedded youtube video. Opening it with konqueror on KDE 4.2 Beta 2 or KDE trunk (4.3) displays nothing. Displays fine in firefox.
Do you get an assert similar to what is in Bug #169626?
works fine with KDE 4.6.4, flash-player 10.2, Qt-4.7.3, openSuse 11.3, 32bit
