Description SlashDevDsp 2008-08-04 14:40:43 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: 4.1.3
OS: Linux

this is what i did:

execution sequence from xterm:
startkde &

dolphin or any kde-4 application for that matter (font size-8 setup in systemsettings)
screenshot-1.jepg
close dolphin

gnome-settings-daemon & I need to run this so gnome-applications show up in correct theme/icons settings
dolphin or any other kde application (font size reduced by 1 or 2)
screenshot-2.jpeg

in screenshot-2 you can see with no changes to kde settings all kdeapplications now have smaller font sizes.
I didnt see any informational messages pertaining to this setup on console to paste here

Comment 4 SlashDevDsp 2009-01-16 09:50:28 UTC
It still seems to be problem, althought i am running ubuntu 7.10 with gtk 2, I don't know if that is a problem
Comment 5 SlashDevDsp 2009-01-16 09:51:22 UTC
can some one else try if they have the same problem with the newer versions of gtk/gnome 2.24?, I dont have access to the newer versions.

I think GNOME changes the DPI settings (at least for the fonts).
Comment 7 Szczepan Hołyszewski 2011-07-20 12:33:57 UTC
