Version: 4.1.0 (using KDE 4.1.0) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages OS: Linux This Problem is propably not directly located to dolphin, more to one of the more basic librarys like konqueror does the same - the problem is that i don't know which one. I have configured my system to share files (with the kde configuration module) and i have activated the "simple" way of sharing where every user should have the ability to grant access to directories in $HOME when i now try to grant access i get the message that i should remove suid from fileshareset which is actually not a good idea because in this case i would have to grant access to smb.conf to all of my users if i would like to make it work. when i execute fileshareset manually i get ~> fileshareset --add bla invalid mount point which is really not related to the message above but: orca:~> fileshareset --add ~/bla /home/lars/smw-1.7-bin/ /home/lars/bla which works perfectly - dolphin recognises directly the change. so the problem we have can only be related in the way this script is called - the other problem is that lots of people start believing that suid is the problem (so for example in case of debian it has been "corrected")
