Description Raphael Kubo da Costa 2008-08-02 03:31:13 UTC
Version: svn r840840 (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc 4.3.1
OS: Linux

This is a user interface wish. I consider Konqueror's "Save Login Information" dialog, which appears when I log in to some site (submit a form with a password), unintuitive.

The text information has six lines (two long sentences and a question). It should be simplified and contain at most two or three lines of text (or the dialog should be made wider).

Besides, the Yes/No/Cancel buttons confuse me (bug 84072 has some similarities): if I'm running the application for the first time, what would Cancel mean - to cancel the login attempt or not to store the information? Does "No" mean Konqueror will never ask this question for that website again or will it keep asking me every time I try to log in? Instead, the text in the buttons could be the similar to what Firefox presents to its users - Save Password, Don't Save or Never for this site (this may require some work to make all these actions available).

This is fixed in trunk and will air in KDE 4.3.
