Version: 4.0.5 (KDE 4.0.5) (using 4.0.5 (KDE 4.0.5), Kubuntu packages) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.24-19-generic Something I have observed today twice. Situation: Konqueror-kde4 is open and serves some pages in several tabs. Kontact is open also. I'm sending kontact to tray by clicking on the close button. Kontact goes to tray and konqueror crash in that moment. Thanks for your report. As I can't reproduce that bug with KDE4.1RC1 from Kubuntu packages: Is ist possible for you to upgrade to 4.1 and test that again? Anyways a complete backtrace would be really helpfull. See this link four details: http://techbase.kde.org/Contribute/Bugsquad/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports
After upgrading to kde4.1 and heavy use kde (especially kontact and konqueror) the last two days this bug does not appear anymore. I will close this bug report due to this reason :-) If this bug still occur I will announce a new bug report.
