Version: (using KDE 3.5.9) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Many tools offer dialogs with a "do not ask again" option. There does not appear to be any standard mechanism (or in many cases any mechanism at all, short of editing well-hidden config files) for undoing this choice. This allows naive users to make permanent changes to the behavior of their KDE installation that can't be recovered from. Example: Insert new media. Click "do nothing" and "do not ask again". Seek in vain for a control panel option that undoes this. (other examples abound---this is a general usability problem for almost all KDE applications.)
