Version: (using KDE 4.0.98) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux When checking my smtp account, the "Remember password" checkbox is always checked by default, even though I unchecked it the previous time. It would be nice if the state would be preserved so that I wouldn't have to switch it off each time; I believe this was the behaviour in 3.5.
I can confirm this bug with KDE 4.1.3 (Mandriva packages), but cannot confirm this with KDE trunk (at the moment KDE 4.3). Can anybody confirm this bug for KDE Version 4.2 or 4.3. Otherwise this bug seems to be fixed.
This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kdepim (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
