Description Morreale jean roc 2008-07-27 16:12:27 UTC
Version: 1.9.95.9 (using KDE 4.0.98)
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs
OS: Linux

I can create a pgsql database from scratch using kexi but cannot use an existing one using the import tools.

I launch kexi and select Open existing project stored in a database server, I set up the connexion details of the local server then follow the different steps in the wizard. I select the type of import as structure only.

The import fails with the following message : Could not import data from data source "jrm@localhost:5432" Details : Unspecified error encountered

pgadminIII can connect itself to the db using the 5432 port, the database contains no data and only one single table with a primary key.

is it possible to get the database schema for the failed import?

Very old report. Not enough data.
All I see is error: DROP DATABASE "jerash". Maybe no permissions.
