Description Ramon Antonio Parada (brainsqueezer) 2008-07-22 16:27:20 UTC
Version: 1.0.99 (using KDE 4.0.98)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

When (a) selecting or (b) mouseover or (c) clicking a file in dolphin most of the times takes 2-3 second to draw preview and dolphin doesn't respond to user actions during this time. If I remove information panel everything works ok.

This happens most of the times but sometimes not. I'm trying to detect when response is ok.
1. html files seem to get drawn much faster
2. when selecting a folder after selecting another folder (including when icons are similar but not equal) second one will be probable be drawn faster
3. after selecting all icons once most of them get drawn without getting frozen
4. after selecting a file once and doing it again there is no delay

2, 3 and 4 suggest me that there some kind of cache

Because of nvidia problems could have relationship with this problem:
Nvidia drivers: 173.14.09
Graphics card: nVidia Corporation C51 [Geforce 6150 Go] (rev a2)
