Version: 1.9.52 (KDE 4.0.84) (using Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources Compiler: gcc version 4.3.1 (Debian 4.3.1-2) OS: Linux I got a strange spam message yesterday from a pop3 account. kmail downloaded it to the inbox, but it cannot read it or delete it and generally acts strangely on it. Behaviour: If I click on it, I get no preview. Double click does nothing (it should open the mail...). When I delete it, the entry on the inbox list is marked with a straight line that means the message is deleted, but it is not moved to trash and if I close and reopen kmail, the message is there. Also, when it is marked for deletion, it cannot be selected. The actions for reply and reminder on the right click menu of the message are unavailable. I found the email message in ~/.kde4/share/apps/kmail/mail/inbox/cur/1216048842.4522.ZTnUR (recognized by the subject and sender) and I will attach it below, along with a few screenshots that illustrate the problem.
Created attachment 26152 [details] the offending email, and a few screenshots screenshot 1 shows kmail being unable to read the message. screenshot 2 shows that the mail marked for deletion but it is not moved to trash. screenshot 3 shows that reply/reminder is unavailable. the file "1216048842.4522.ZTnUR" is the spam email.
