Dear sirs

I downloaded yesterday night the new KDE 2.0.1 and I cannot get an
internet connection with my modem anymore while everything was ok using
the "old" Kde 2.

My modem is the US Robotics 56K message modem.

The connection problem makes the daemon die straight after the
connection speed appears on the log windows.

Is mine a unique case or is it a recognized bug?

My best regards

Alberto Vacca

Ok in windows when I had it installed it says my modem is connected to COM2=
and that's the equivalent to /dev/ttys1 in linux. So I select this and try=
to connect and it says "modem not responding".I tried messing around with =
the options none workbut when I select /dev/modem or /dev/ttys0 it seems t=
o get to initialize but just hands there.

Closing a stone-age bug that cannot be reproduced.
