I have 4 virtual desktops configured and have set the desktop grid effect to appear when moving the mouse to the top left corner. Now I start some windows on the first desktop and open the desktop grid by moving the mouse to the top left corner. The 4 desktops are correctly shown: the top left one with the visible windows and 3 empty ones. I select the empty bottom left desktop. Now open the desktop grid again. No windows are shown on the top left desktop, all 4 desktops are shown empty. Go back to the first desktop. The windows are still there, but simply weren't shown in the grid desktop preview.

Caused by the same root problem as bug 161436.  A patch is proposed but has not been merged yet.  SVN r827266
