Version: 4.1 Beta 2 (using KDE 4.0.5KDE 1.2) Installed from: I Don't KnowSuSE RPMs OS: Linux Some lines from http://freenet-homepage.de/prilop/right-to-left.html http://www.unics.uni-hannover.de/nhtcapri/right-to-left.html are displayed incorrectly, i.e. they show "0123456789" instead of "9876543210". Both Mozilla Firefox 2 and Internet Explorer 7 show the above test pages correctly.
Using KDE 4.1.00 (KDE 4.0.99 (4.1 RC1+)) (KDEmod) in ArchLinux: I can reproduce this bug. The source code of the line that is displayed incorrectly: <p style="direction:rtl; unicode-bidi:bidi-override">0123456789</p> and <p><bdo dir="rtl" >0123456789</bdo></p>
Using KDE 4.1.00 (KDE 4.1 final) (KDEmod) in ArchLinux i686: I can still reproduce this bug.
I can also reproduce this bug using: Version 4.1.62 (KDE 4.1.62 (KDE 4.2 >= 20080814)) kdelibs4.2 svn rev.849324 kdebase4.2 svn rev.849337 ArchLinux 2.6.25-zen2-20080814 i686
This bug is still present on KDE4.1.3 and KDE4.2svn (kdelibs rev 890060), here on my ArchLinux x86_64 box.
I can confirm this bug using: Qt: 4.4.3 KDE: 4.1.82 (KDE 4.1.82 (KDE 4.2 >= 20081204)) kdelibs svn rev. 895490 / kdebase svn rev. 895490
Cannot reproduce with Falkon, first link is dead.
