Version: 0.10.0-svn (rev.: 819557) (using 4.00.84 (KDE 4.0.84 (KDE 4.1 >= 20080625), compiled sources) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22.17-0.1-default When sorting albums by date (View->Sort Albums->By Date), Digikam should not add albums to the list which do not have any images at all. This often happens with hieracial albums, e.g. consider the following album structure: - My France Holiday \- Paris \- Bretagne Now, assume "My France Holiday" itself has no pictures, only "Paris" and "Bretagne" have. When sorting by folder, this is fine, since "My France Holiday" has child items. However, when sorting by date, the list is flat, and displaying "My France Holiday" does not make sense at all. This was already a problem in KDE3, but in KDE4 it got worse, since Digikam now has the ability to have multiple collections, which also means that there is always an album "$HOME/Pictures" (when the default is used), and that album is usually empty by itself, but always displayed when sorting by date.
Thomas, This file still valid using digiKam 0.10.0-beta6 ? Gilles Caulier
> This file still valid using digiKam 0.10.0-beta6 ? Still valid with 0.10.0 beta7.
Yes, this is still valid. But maybe we should re-visit this when porting the views...
Andi, It still valid with digiKam 2.4 ? Gilles Caulier
Andi, View have been ported with 4.x serie. Please test with last digiKam 4.2.0. Gilles Caulier
Mohamed, What about this entry since Album sorts options have been re-implemented by you recently ? Gilles Caulier
Maik, I remember than you patch Calendar Icon View item lister. This entry still valid with current implementation ? Gilles
Gilles I understand it this way: here it goes to the album tree and not to the album view. Bug is no longer reproducible here. Maik
Right Maik, it's about date album tree-view, not icon-view Gilles
