Version: 0.10.0-svn (rev.: 819557) (using 4.00.84 (KDE 4.0.84 (KDE 4.1 >= 20080625), compiled sources) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22.17-0.1-default When first starting digikam, the welcome page is shown. On this welcome page, the text "Manage your photographs [..]" overlaps the main text box. This bug report, and all following bug reports, are for digikam 0.10.0-svn, built today.

I still can confirm this, too. There seems to be a problem with CSS floating. Andi
Andi, In Akademy, I have meat Johann Ollivier Lapeyre from Oxygen team who will help us to fix this problem and others important usability/design stuff. I CC him... Gilles
Okey dokey...
Strange, I have not changed the OS... I'll reset this one... Andi
I think this is a problem with the absolute position of the tagline div. If I'm not wrong a absolute positioned item will not change the flow of the text. I will try to do something with relative positioning now...
Am I doing something wrong? Why aren't the CCBUGS / BUGS keywords working anymore? This can't be so hard to fix, the other stuff is working, too. So I'll paste it in manually: SVN commit 860709 by aclemens: fixes text overlapping in welcome page when resizing the sidebar CCBUGS:165337 M +5 -13 infopage.css M +2 -1 main.html webSVN: http://websvn.kde.org/?view=rev&revision=860709 So this patches fixes the overlapping, but if you make the sidebar too small, the whole text will float under the digikam logo. But who is resizing the sidebar like this anyway? :-) So if this is ok for you, let me know so I can close this one here (or just close it by yourself). Andi
Andi, This is fine for me. you can close this entry now. Gilles
