Version: (using KDE 4.0.83) Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package OS: Linux When you open a text file (Embedded Advanced Text Editor) or a pdf inside konqueror, you get a lot of redundant and repeated entries on the menus, especially on the File and Edit menus. Attached is a screenshot of the Edit menu with a text file open -- you have 2*undo, 2*copy, 2*cut, ... I can understand that detecting which menus are the same might be hard, but usability-wise the way it is now is very confusing.
Created attachment 25632 [details] Edit menu in konqueror, while having Text Editor part loaded
This has nothing to do with usability, this sounds rather like a 'normal' bug. Adjusted the title.
Confirmed with master/branch 4.6 compiled from sources with pdf (okular part) and plain text (kart part) files.

Checked with kde 4.6.2 (kubuntu 10.10) and branch 4.6.3 compiled from sources: Viewing a pdf with okularpart has only a duplicated Bookmarks menu with different content. Viewing a text file with the Embedded Advanced Text Editor the Edit menu has duplicated entries Cut/Copy/Paste.
