If the information panel in Dolphin is enabled and the mouse hovers over a large file (>200 MB) like a video file or an iso image, Dolphin becomes non-responsive and the only way to end the process is to either kill it with the system monitor or wait for kwin to issue to terminate prompt. It seems like the information panel is trying to parse all the information in these huge files and causing Dolphin to hang. The information panel works properly for small files of the same type.
