Version:           4.00.83 (KDE 4.0.83 (KDE 4.1 Beta2) (using 4.00.83 (KDE 4.0.83 (KDE 4.1 Beta2), compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.24.5-smp

Is very good,can play
many formats,had bookmarks
and playlist,is better than
dragonplayer and others.
It can record streams and
has good plugin for konqueror.
Why not add as default player on kde?

Yes. KMPlayer is very better then Dragon Player.

This project is unfortunately no longer maintained.

If a new maintainer wants to step up and take care, the project is archived here:

https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/kmplayer

You can just clone it in your private namespace on invent.kde.org and if you have started to work on it and fixed/implemented something get it reviewed and the project unarchived.
