Version: 0.8.0 (using 3.5.9, compiled sources) Compiler: Target: i486-slackware-linux OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22.6 configure showFoto -> General -> Sort order for images -> Sort images by : "File Name" is sorted in reverted order when "reverse ordering" option is not marked. When I mark this option then it is finally ordered alphabetically. Sorting by "File size" and "File date" work as expected.
For me sorting in showfoto doesn't work at all :( Plus: sorting should be in menu, easily accessible - not hidden in config options.
Mik, Sorting failure still valid with KDE4 ? Gilles Caulier
Still valid is my report ;) Changing settings doesn't effect way of sorting in showfoto - always sorting by name in ascending [a-z] alphabetical order.
I guess that what Mikołaj is expecting is to be able to change photos' order when they are already loaded into showfoto but these options only have effect when opening a directory. Am I right Mikołaj?
For me sorting is always reversed, and need to check "reverse" in the settings to actually have alphabetical sorting of my images.
still present in digiKam 1.0.0-beta1
