Description monstermunch 2008-06-22 01:03:30 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

To use the fish kio-slave, the user must type:

fish://user@domain...

I think it would be an improvement to allow the use of "ssh" instead of "fish" as in:

ssh://user@domain...

I like this idea because:

1. it's easy to remember and can be guessed because it's a common sense name (i.e. type "ssh" for ssh access)
2. it sticks with the conventions of the other kio slaves (i.e. "http" is for http, "ftp" is for ftp).
3. it's the same naming scheme gnome uses in nautilus (again, this consistency if good).

this could be helpful for a lot of users!

I would also like this to be added.

Resetting to the default assignee as it has been 13 years.
