Description Daniel Svärd 2008-06-15 16:58:14 UTC
Version: 0.1.5 (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources

When exporting geolocalised photos from Digikam to Flickr, they don't seem to be tagged with this information in Flickr. Looking at the map, there's nothing there. I'm using Digikam 0.9.4-beta5 with Kipi-plugins 0.1.5.

Looking at the Flickr API documentation, there seems to be a method called flickr.photos.geo.setLocation that would provide this functionality. I would love it if the geotags of my photos were transferred to Flickr when exported there, it's such a pain to do it manually. Thanks.

You have to activate the gps-import option inside flickr :

http://www.flickr.com/account/geo/exif

Then the geolocation should be preserved during the export (at least it works for me)

You are right. I had missed to activate it inside flickr.

Thank you.
