Version: (using KDE 3.5.9) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Hi, I have a PCI DVB-C card and living in an area where the provider puts >200 channels on the cable. e.g. the program me-tv finds >200. Unfortunately, kaffeine finds only about 20 TV and Radio-channels. The DVB-C card does not support auto-scanning, so I gave kaffeine a scan-file (same as I gave to me-tv). Although the channels dialog says that it uses the given scan-file, it still finds just the same channels (about 20) and is finished within a few seconds, where scanning should take >1min. I guess that kaffeine has some problems in recognizing that a different scan file has been chosen, because I first tried a scan file with just one entry line, and maybe kaffeine still sticks to that file. regards
Created attachment 25314 [details] The scan file I try This is the scanfile which I try to use.
Start kaffeine from a term, start scan, and post the whole output.
