Description Maciej Pilichowski 2008-06-13 19:09:30 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.82)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Because at work (i.e. when you change the height) it looks like you are moving just control pane, not changing the height of the panel.

Btw. refreshing the panel content on the fly would be very useful to indicate what is going on (exactly as it is happening with normal windows).

if possible, let's keep topics together. splitting things into too many reports makes managing the ideas much harder.

Aaron, I meant height, the other report is about width. Should I attach screenshot to show which splitter I have in mind?

the other report is about height as well. to quote: "Using the little cashew on the right of the panel to adjust the height is very difficult and counter-intuitive."

That's why I am puzzled :-) I do:
a) click RMB on the panel -> panel settings
b) drag the splitter of the control pane

I don't even see anything on the right, no special widget.

But I just pointed it out, if it is better for you to merge those to reports, no problem.

at the moment the height it's not adjusted on the fly for some really ugly performance problems with qt4.4, it's definitely a thing for 4.2
