Version: 4.00.80 (using Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources OS: Linux I wish to use the Escape key for 'Quit' action for GWenView. I selected 'Configure Shortcuts' and set Esc as the alternative key binding. But it does not work. Ctrl+Q still works, but Esc does not produce any effect. I tried setting it as the primary shortcut, and also as the only short cut. But Esc never works. I tried setting another combination Ctrl+B, and that works too. The problem is only with the Esc key.
Observed in KDE 4.0.4/Fedora 9 and also KDEDaily r810996
The problem remains with Gwenview v2.1 on KDE 4.1.0. Any love on this one?
Problem exists with v2.1.2 on KDE 4.1.2. No love on this one??
Sorry for the silence. The problem is that esc key is bound to provide master-detail navigation together with enter key (press enter to go browse->view->fullscreen, press esc to go fullscreen->view->browse). As such I am not sure what I should do to fix this without breaking this navigation.
I'm closing this one as it doesn't seem to have a future. Thanks for the support.
Your bug is still in my TODO list. It may have a future.
