Version: (using KDE 4.0.5) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages Go to http://techgage.com/print/top_10_free_linux_gameshttp://techgage.com/print/top_10_free_linux_games. Right after the page loads (before the images are rendered), press End to jump to the end of the page. Start reading from "#1 Battle for Wesnoth". Note how the text jumps? Note how you can't read what you want to read? That's the bug. In case you can't reproduce, here's a description: think of a web page as a tall rectangle, with the currently viewed rectangle ("viewport") represented by a y-coordinate. When the tall rectangle becomes taller by the insertion of an image above the current viewport, the y-coordinate of the viewport stays fixed. This means new text scrolls down into the viewport, and old text scrolls out, which makes it impossible to read when it happens often. My suggested alternative behavior is to increase the y-coordinate of the viewport by the height delta of the page, when the growth-causing event is additions that are all above the viewport. In this way, text wouldn't move, and you can read it. Similarly, the viewport contents should change as little as possible when things are inserted to the left of it, by increasing the x-coordinate of the viewport. Also, when changing window dimensions Go to the game list again. Scroll down until the frozen-bubble screenshots are roughly centered in the viewport. Make the unmaximized konqueror be roughly 800 pixels wide (half my display width). Go from maximized to unmaximized. The text in the viewport jumps to nowhere near frozen-bubble (I have "#3 Enemy Territory" at the bottom of the viewport). It would be more useful if konqueror kept showing me the things I pointed it at, to some reasonable degree.
