Description Pascal d'Hermilly 2008-06-06 18:12:25 UTC
Version: 4.1 beta 1 (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
OS: Linux

It would be very nice if knewhotstuff in KDE 4 allows you to easily remove the stuff again.
A list of files that you have downloaded and that can be easily uninstalled
Is this a feature you would work on?

Use case: I download an image through knewhotstuff. 3 days later I decide I don't like it, and want to remove it. It is not easily done.

Removing unwanted stuff is almost as great a feature as getting new hot stuff. PLZ!!!

cheers,
Pascal

for KDE 4.4?
Comment 3 Jeremy Whiting 2009-06-08 19:08:28 UTC
Yes, I've wanted this myself for a while, I need to just go make it happen I think, all the data is there (we know what you have installed) just need to figure out how to add it to the interface is all. I think I should be able to get this into 4.4

uninstalling works in knewstuff3 (starting in KDE 4.4 and for real in 4.5)

I've tried it in 4.4. It very nice!

Thank you :-)
