What Kexi version? I can see libqt-mt.so.3 (Qt3) in the backtrace as well as libQtCore.so.4. Are you sure you don't mix Kexi 2 and Kexi 1 on the machine? Mixing them would be possible, but this depends on how your distribution separates KDE 4 packages from KDE 3.
you have right , Before : [dimitri@localhost ~]$ rpm -qa | grep kexi keximdb-1.1.0-5mdv2008.1 koffice-kexi-1.6.3-19mdv2008.1 libkexiutils5-1.9.95.3-0.766453.5mdv2008.1 libkexiextendedwidgets5-1.9.95.3-0.766453.5mdv2008.1 libkexicore5-1.9.95.3-0.766453.5mdv2008.1 libkoffice2-kexi-1.6.3-19mdv2008.1 libkexiv2_3-0.1.6-8mdv2008.1 libkexiformutils5-1.9.95.3-0.766453.5mdv2008.1 libkexidb5-1.9.95.3-0.766453.5mdv2008.1 libkeximigrate5-1.9.95.3-0.766453.5mdv2008.1 libkeximain5-1.9.95.3-0.766453.5mdv2008.1 libkexisql33-1.9.95.3-0.766453.5mdv2008.1 libkexidatatable5-1.9.95.3-0.766453.5mdv2008.1 libkexiv2-0.1.6-8mdv2008.1 libkexiguiutils5-1.9.95.3-0.766453.5mdv2008.1 libkexirelationsview5-1.9.95.3-0.766453.5mdv2008.1 and now : [root@localhost dimitri]# rpm -qa | grep kexi koffice-kexi-1.6.3-19mdv2008.1 libkoffice2-kexi-1.6.3-19mdv2008.1 keximdb-1.1.0-5mdv2008.1 [root@localhost dimitri]# Thank you very much for the fast reply too Dimitri
From what I can see on your list, note: Kexi 1.x and 2.x should work fine in the same machine. The package names and the way how these are splitted look strange to me. This is too much complicated. I would expect similar packaging as in Kexi 1.x. Could you please report the issue to Mandriva? Later could be too late. =) thx
ok, done ! i ve posted it here: https://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=41286 :)
