Description Joseph Tate 2008-05-23 14:40:55 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.4)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux

When loading a page using HTTPS, that uses a certificate signed by verisign, there is no indicator (other than the URL in the address bar) that that page is in HTTPS. There's no lock icon like in konqueror 3 -- in either the address bar, or the status bar -- to click to inspect the certificate (or chain of certificates). The address bar also does not change colors to indicate a secure site.

This is a regression from Konqueror 3.

This is probably related to the bug I filed yesterday #162485.
