(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: konsole Version: 1.0.1 (KDE 2.0) Severity: wishlist Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release) OS: Linux 2.2.16 i686 (compiled sources) Dear konsole developers your program is just great. No mess of hundreds of XTerms on my desktop any more. One feature which would even improve the comfortable handling would be detachable terminals. That is if they had some kind of tag at the side with which one could drag the terminal out of the window to give view on another terminal. This is very useful if one wants to do something in one terminal and have a look on another. Another option would be to allow different panes inside the konsole window... Another thing which I would like to have is that the escape codes that change Window title / Icon title in Xterms would change the button labels as well. (I usually have something like "Terminal: user@host:/path/" in the title which would make identifying the buttons easier). Keep up the good work! KDE2 is just great! Sincerely Tilman Vogel
