It would be interesting to display a ruler around documents in Okular. 
Currently, when displaying images or odt documents, we are force to open a biggest application (Krita, Gimp, Koffice, OpenOffice.org, etc.) if we need the ruler.

To keep a clean interface, this feature can be emulated by displaying coordonates, width and height in selection tool - it might be more powerful.
