Description thekernel 2008-04-22 06:50:19 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.3)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

Lock session from either panel lock icon or following menu to lock, does seem to lock the session but I can't be sure that it is locked or just frozen. Normally a mouse movement will bring the password request up, but nothing happens. Only way out is ctrl-alt-backspace.

this seems to have some similarity with bug 155409, bug 156245, bug 156644 and bug 157878 - please try to determine if either of the described conditions apply.
Comment 2 thekernel 2008-04-22 09:24:14 UTC
I agree. It does match bug 157878

I get the same results. I did have to enable the screensaver though, as it was disabled.
Lock screen produces screensaver, unlock box flashes up and then away. Typing the unlock password restores normal desktop.

if you don't have screen saver it is like this bug: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=160534 ?
