I'll try to provide a game option to avoid this.
I am also trapped by this bug. I worked ten minutes for the 20x12 box, and get an "Wrong answer" while my answer is just ok~

Man this goes against everything GNU stands for. Like dude! If there where to be only one solution to a given problem, GNU would not be _like_ UNIX, it would _be_ UNIX.. I would vote for this to be raised to critical severity, for as it stands now, KBlackbox IS unplayable.

Is still someone working on this? Changing from wishlist to bug.

Created attachment 74738 [details] [PATCH] Fix bug #161042: Several solutions, only one is accepted Now instead of comparing the positions of the balls with the target solution, it compares the outgoing positions of each border position to that of the target board.
I attached a tentative patch to this bug. It still marks "wrong" balls with red x's and so on, but it calculates the score correctly now, so the game is playable. I have no experience at all with c++, so please do check if I used correct style and so on.
Thank you for the bug report. As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists. If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved.
