Description Dustin Steiner 2008-04-09 10:24:04 UTC
Version: 0.12.7 (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux

it would be nice to be able to add a toolbar, which displays the current online/away-status-message in the messagewindow if set

Like in ICQ or so, that if you open a chat with a person, it automatically displays the person‘s away/status message. It is really inconvenient if there‘s a link inside the message (to a newspaper article or something) and you want to open it. You cannot. The link is too long and everything to remember and the tooltip is non-clickable and disappears after a while.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
