Description Maciej Pilichowski 2008-04-08 17:18:50 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.9)

Run KWord, OOWriter, anything really -- you can start editing document, saving it later.

Please provide this type of working in Ark -- so user could add files to temporary archive, and then choose "save (as)".

In other words -- treat archive as document; after all it is a document (not text one) so user could work in similar way in all KDE apps. Thank you in advance.

...also this means:
* do not compress on add, but on save (a lot of time saving, because user can change his/her mind)
* provide save, not only save as

Here's a duplicate:

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=203770

I filed it myself, without first knowing you made a wish before me.
